Our Seahorses
You can see my 6 seahorses doing there day to day thing, you will see them fed in the morning and in the evening.
Welcome to our Reidi Seahorses. We have 6 seahorse, three males and three females. We keep them in salt water with a temperature of between 25c and 27c.The males carry the babies and give birth to them, this normally takes about 12 hours from start to finish. There courtship takes place daily they pair up and dance.
FEEDING... We normally feed them twice a day once in the morning between 9 and 10am and then again in the evening between 6 and 7pm, we feed them on mysis shrimp which they love.
In the tank aswell as the seahorses we have a banned pipe fish, turbo snails, hermits crabs,2 blood shrimp and two peppermint shrimp.
CLEANING....We do a 20% water change every two weeks, this normally takes us about 2 hours from start to finish. We do weekly checks aswell, we add all the minerals and salt each week too.
